My name is Kippy Hammond and I am a professional portrait artist from the United States. While my clientele and business remain primarily in the states, my heart has stayed in France, turning my initial three month visit into seven years.
My experience in painting and living in a foreign country has given me the opportunity to expand personally, as well as professionally. At the same time, it has been path of trial and error as I have learned to navigate in a different culture.
La Bonne Etoile was specifically developed to assist artists and writers who would benefit from an experience in another culture along with a time of seclusion and solitude.
I am the lone American, surrounded by a wonderful support team of native French. Together, we provide for a fun, productive time for those that choose to create and recreate at La Bonne Etoile.
